The Irish Cultural Museum of New Orleans is an educational facility designed to educate the public about the contributions that Ireland and its culture, have made to New Orleans since its colonial beginnings. We do this through providing a historic setting that is tranquil, inviting, friendly, and employs all seven different learning styles. Our educational amenities include:

Guided Tours

We provide guided private tours, as well as school tours, to anyone interested in learning more about Irish culture and its impact on New Orleans. Our knowledgeable tour guides will walk you through our historic facilities sharing unique facts and narratives passed down for generations.

Private Tours

Private tours are available upon request. No minimum number of persons is required. Simply contact us to arrange for your private tour either during or after normal business hours, at your convenience.

School Tours

School tours are available upon request. You may request guided tours that focus on topics relative to your classroom objective. Please contact us for more information and available programs.

Steinbeck the Art of Fiction: July 23, 6 p.m.–9 p.m.
Celebrating John Steinbeck, the exhibit features artist interpretation of the author's sculptures, photographs and paintings. It's an opening of the gallery, so we will have free wine and an open bar.
